Born under a full moon on a cold rainy Seattle night (which totally explains his love of flannel, dark coffee, and hard rock music), Sean was raised loving hockey but couldn’t skate until he was in his 20’s, so instead, he played soccer and lacrosse, after being relocated to Portage, MI when he was 2.  After high school looking for adventure and an “escape” from the boredom of Michigan, Sean joined the Air Force; apparently, there are rules about non-pilots flying fighter jets, so he settled on being a logistics specialist and stationed at Altus AFB in Altus, OK (Population 850, located in the middle of nowhere) adventures to Sonic, Walmart and the Oklahoma College Rodeo Hall of Fame relieved his boredom for sure.  After serving 2 years, Sean relocated to Toledo, OH, and began his collegiate studies. Three schools and ten years later (sorry, Mom), Sean graduated with a Bachelor’s in Social Psychology from Western Michigan University and began his “Career” in Juvenile Criminal Justice. Soon though, realizing it was not for him, he convinced his family that another year of school might be needed, so at Davenport University, he obtained an Associate in Medical Assisting.  As a Certified Medical Assistant, he has “dabbled” in Oncology, Emergency/Trauma, Urgent Care, and Infectious Disease/Community Health. After a stint in Sacramento, CA, working COVID relief, he decided he needed a job that combined his love for children, desire to dress ridiculously occasionally, and gave him the opportunity to laugh at least once a day; since clown college seemed out of the question at this point, in September 2021, he accepted a position at Cereal City Pediatrics. Sean is married and, much to his wife’s dismay has two sons exactly like him. In his free time, he loves watching — and now that he can skate — playing hockey, rooting for Notre Dame and Detroit Sports (yes, even the Lions), and is still always looking for adventures in all he does.
